Just put a bit of loveliness in your day! Buy yourself some flowers, take a walk and breathe in the fresh air, go visit someone you haven’t seen in a while. This time of year can be so stressful where you feel pulled in all directions, so it’s a must to give yourself a little loving. Something I do on a regular basis is take a power nap just about every afternoon which I’m about to do right here. It’s very calm right now, so I’m going to take advantage of the time. Are you someone that has a hard time slowing down, saying “no” or feeling guilty for taking a little time for YOURSELF? Well, it’s time to realize that self care is very crucial to your wellbeing as well as to your family or coworkers. You must refresh by taking some time for yourself – maybe to meditate or have some quiet for 15 minutes- so that you can be a better YOU. When you’re a better YOU, you can then be there for others and feel reinvigorated for the activities of the day. 😉
